Mr. Zaid exemplified model behavior educators expect from students. He
was courteous, attentive, prepared, and engaged.
Some of the students exact written responses were:
“He kept you focused and interested.” “It got more and more interesting and I actually wanted to learn more.” “His lesson was creative and fun. We all laughed and enjoyed the challenge.” “The lesson was very engaging. You had to pay attention. It was a completely new concept but he made the process fun and
interesting.” “It was very interesting and challenging. I never got bored or distracted.

Illinois Central College
Ali’s ability to work well with students and work well in any teaching environment impressed me from his start at Illinois Central College. Ali is a teacher whose abilities stretch outside the community college. He has acquired a great deal of experience from his heritage country of Morocco, and he brings this mastery with him in the classroom and in the community. To this end, Ali’s commitment to student success in the classroom in learning a foreign language is commendable. He offers patience to the student and dedication to the institution. Because he is a multiple language speaker, he understands the challenges of learning a foreign language.
